Culinary Depot Culinary Depot has hired a new store manager for its Spring Valley, New York, location.


Ushi Simanovitch will now lead the store, which includes a full showroom. “Ushi brings fresh energy, strong leadership and a passion for excellence that’s already making waves,” the company said in a social media post announcing the hire. The Spring Valley store is one of Culinary Depot’s six physical locations. The company also has a strong e-commerce presence.

Hoshizaki America has appointed Kelly McWilliams as its new senior vice president of sales and marketing. McWilliams’s career spans


more than 25 years in the foodservice industry, including time at organizations such as Coca-Cola, Cornelius and Middleby. Most recently, she was the senior global vice president of sales and marketing at the Taylor Company. Her expertise in both domestic and international sales, product development, distributor growth, marketing strategy, and customer service are

expected to position her as a powerful asset to Hoshizaki’s continued growth, the company said in a news release.

Kamran Culinex Mark Howes, the former president of Culinex and chief supply chain offi cer of Kamran Culinex, retired at the end of May after more than 44 years at the North Dakota-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer. As a young professional, Howes joined Culinex in the early 1980s. He spent the next four decades involved in various industry groups, including FEDA and three of the country’s largest buying groups.
