She is a Regional Portfolio Manager at Pinnacle – American Management Services Co., and has a diverse background in life sciences project management, biotechnology investor relations and business development. Ines received her Bachelor’s degree from Albertson College of Idaho, is a member of the Community Association Institute and is working on obtaining her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA)

Tim Feth, Esq.


is an associate attorney at Rafel Law Group PLLC, which focuses on advising and representing Homeowner and Condominium Owner Associations.


He earned his


undergraduate degree in philosophy from Central Washington University summa cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Washington with honors. During law school he worked on whistle-blower cases for the nonprofit Hanford Challenge, and mediated cases in King County’s small claims court. Tim is new to the practice of law,

Melissa Musser, CMCA, AMS


introduces the first of a three-part series of articles dedicated to homeowners associations in this issue, with “Plat Maps – Where the Magic Happens.” As the Suburban Growth Practices Director with Trestle Community Management, Melissa focuses on developer and declarant community formation through transition to owners for homeowner and master Associations. As an elected City Councilperson for the City of Des Moines since 2010, she chairs the city’s Environment Committee and


brings her extensive knowledge of plat management, low impact development standards and surface water management to the clients she serves. Melissa is part of the Education Committee and in her spare time she is an avid marathon runner. By marathon, she means Netflix marathons that she enjoys with the love of her life that she met at a WSCAI Business Partners Social. So you could say that Association Management, truly is her whole life.


Daniel Zimberoff, Esq., CCAL


is a Partner of Barker Martin, PS, a Pacific Northwest law firm focusing on complex civil litigation and homeowner association general counsel representation. Daniel is an active member of WSCAI. He discusses due process for CC&R violations in his article.
