Community Spotlight: Trilogy at Redmond Ridge Residential Community Association

What makes your community a great place to live? Beautiful location, private amenities and an active community. You can work out in the gym, swim in the pool, have a massage at the Tranquility Spa and then drink a glass of wine at the Bistro.


What is special about your community? Our members. We have eight committees that assist the board with everything from budgeting and capital improvements to forest stewardship and landscaping. There is no status quo at Trilogy. We evaluate our processes each year to see how we can improve.

What challenges do you face now? Like many communities, our landscaping and buildings are getting a bit older. Keeping our high standards and working within our budget is an exciting challenge.

What is your community’s greatest success? It has to be our Board and Committees.


They have worked tirelessly to create


a wonderful place to live. A few years ago the Board hired a consultant to review their practices. The consultant was helpful in organizing committee structure and assisting the Board in Community Management. When you have the leaders of a community always striving to do better, you can’t lose.


What methods does your community use to communicate with owners? Weekly e-newsletters, website, town halls.


How does your community foster resident participation? We have a very active committee structure that encourages people to get involved. New committee members get an extensive committee training. We strive to make everyone feel welcome at every meeting and reach out to the community for input on a number of topics. New residents are provided an orientation on their community’s governing structure and amenities available to them.

Does your community hold any social events? If so, what are they? When don’t we? Pick a holiday and there is an event for it! We have a Monday Night Dinner serving everything from lasagna to prime rib, concerts, new member events and so much more. Trilogy has almost 100 clubs and interest groups that provide education, games, travel, music and much more. One of our groups just held an annual Oktoberfest celebration with proceeds going to Seattle Children’s. (seattlechildrens.org)
