is a homeowner member currently serving on the Board of the Royal Crest Condominium in Belltown. First appointed in 2006, Ferdinand served as Chairman for most of the intervening years, and was recently named Treasurer. Prior to moving to downtown Seattle, Ferd lived with his wife of 50+ years in Clyde Hill and, prior to retiring in 2004, was President of Tacoma Guitar Co. and before that, VP Marketing of Harman Intl. Industries’ Music Group. He’s honored to have been re-elected to the Board of WSCAI and delighted with the opportunity to contribute to this exceptional group of individuals.


Jackie Davis Fischer Restoration and Fischer Plumbing


has been the Marketing and Business Development Manager for Fischer Restoration and Fischer Plumbing for the past six years. She loves working with customers and meeting new people in the industry every day. She has been actively involved with WSCAI, serving as co-chair of the CA Day Committee and member of the Membership Committee, where she serves as an Ambassador and has also been on the Communications and Made for Manager’s Day Committees. She has enjoyed volunteering for several of the Community Outreach events as well. Jackie graduated from the University of Washington and has spent much of her career producing industry events and trade shows. She’s excited to be a part of WSCAI’s board of Directors again this year!


Deverick Martin University Plaza Owners Association


is a homeowner member and a recent past president of the WSCAI Board of Directors. He continues to be active in WSCAI, and as a Board member has served on several Committees. He also serves as University Plaza Owners Association Board President and has also been an active member of the Building, Finance Civic Affairs and Social Committees at University Plaza. He is enthusiastic about CAI and the important role it plays in community governance.


Anthony L. (“Tony”) Rafel Rafel Law Group PLLC


is a former Co-Chair of WSCAI’s Business Partners Committee. Tony has been practicing law in Seattle for 35 years, with a focus on community association law for the last 25 years. He is the Managing Partner of Rafel Law Group PLLC, with offices in Seattle and Portland, and practices actively in both states, handling construction and product defect, insurance coverage, covenant and rule enforcement, boundary and nuisance cases, among many others. Tony also serves as a trusted advisor to boards, helping them to solve problems, resolve disputes and practice good governance. Tony has been peer-selected as a Washington SuperLawyer™ every year since 2003 and holds the top peer-review rating for legal skill and ethical standards from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a past president of the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of Washington and lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. Tony lives in Seattle with his wife, Megan, and their aging but still yummy Labrador retriever, Joey.
