Andrea has been involved with the Business Partners Committee since its inception in 2011. She has served as co-chair since 2013. During her time as co-chair, the Committee opened up sponsorship opportunities to more Business Partners, where event sponsorships are now available to companies based on their prior year’s financial commitment to WSCAI. Additionally, McLeod Construction has donated funds and equipment for the Community Outreach Committee’s Earth Day project.

14 Community Associations Journal | January/February 2017

Georgianna takes special interest in staying current on building envelope and other building product issues. This knowledge benefits all her associations, ranging from new construction to historic Seattle communities, including Seattle’s newest Historic HOA, the Homes at Fort Lawton, located in Discovery Park.

A Seattle native, who family were original homesteaders in Wauconda, Washington (still a working farm), Georgianna embraces her background as an urban farmer with a flock of 6 chickens, within Seattle city limits.

While no one in this industry can legitimately claim to have “seen it all,” Georgianna might come close. Not many managers have worked with a property only to learn that the private water and treatment facility rights related to the facility “had been lost in a poker game between officials and documented on notarized bar napkin.”
