CONTRIBUTING WRITERS Dr. Joseph Brimhall


has been President of the University of Western States (UWS) for over 20 years, beginning in 2003. He has extensive experience in chiropractic clinical practice, professional licensing and testing, and higher education


accreditation. Dr. Brimhall is former President and Chairman of the Council on Chiropractic Education United States (CCE), and a Founding Director and President of the Councils on Chiropractic Education International. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). In this issue, he updates us with “Action Potentials” from UWS.


Sarah Kotlerman, BS, DC, NTP updates us on the Washington Chiropractic College in this issue. She practices at Averio Health Institute where she specializes in regenerative medicine and functional neurology. She is passionate about bringing pre and post results to the chiropractic and medical community and is currently working on publishing a regenerative medicine results book with the partnership of her father, Dr. Avery Martin. When not in the office, Dr. Kotlerman enjoys spending time with her husband, photography, and exploring new hiking trails all throughout the PNW.


John D. Webber, Attorney at Law is the Managing Shareholder for GLP Attorneys. He is a regular speaker to healthcare providers throughout Washington State on topics related to working with personal injury patients, insurance carriers, and their attorneys. In addition, he


proudly serves the Washington State Association of Justice as the Vice President of Legislative Affairs. It is the policy of the WSCA to produce publications for the following purposes: to keep the membership informed on issues of concern and current news; to improve communication and cooperation between members of the profession, and between the profession and the WSCA; to promote and advance the activities, goals and objectives of the WSCA; to provide a forum for input and exchange regarding the direction of healthcare and the chiropractic profession; and to provide a venue for promotion of the WSCA’s corporate membership while providing financial support to the WSCA.


Display Advertising Policy


It is the policy of the WSCA to extend display advertising opportunities in Plexus only to those companies and/or individuals who choose to affiliate with the WSCA as Corporate Partners. DCs who maintain outside business interests in addition to their chiropractic practice are invited to increase their involvement as Corporate Partners and thus enjoy the privilege of advertising their products in Plexus.
