Therapists can create a comprehensive framework for supporting these children through collaborative efforts with parents and other professionals. By suggesting further evaluation and testing when needed, and providing recommendations to parents and school personnel, play therapists can assist in implementing accommodations that promote children’s social, academic, and career success across multiple settings.
