I am so grateful and honored to have been a recipient of the 2021 Annual Conference Scholarship. Throughout the conference, I met countless inspiring, creative, and brilliant individuals who much I have to learn about Play Therapy as a new clinician, but was also welcomed daily by an enormously supportive community of professionals who happily took me under their wings and allowed me to join them as we all learned together. I have never been more sure that I am in the my niche, and am beyond thankful for the incredible opportunity I was given to learn, grow, and network. I can’t begin to thank enough the donors to the Foundation for Play Therapy who made this scholarship possible. I am so appreciative of their generosity and passion for advancing to seek RPT credentials, challenged me academically, and helped me grow both professionally and personally. I will always be grateful for this experience, and look forward to attending the conference again next year!

I would like to begin by thanking the donors to the Foundation for Play Therapy whose kind impacted my development as a therapist and ultimately my work with children and their families, session I attended on the intersection of Play Therapy and therapist creativity, I felt engaged by the content and pulled in by the presenters’ passion for their work and ideas. Some of the areas that stood out for me include the sessions on Brain-based sequential play therapy interventions, Each session I attended was informative and contributed to the consolidation of material I have into these concepts for a week, fully engage the world of play therapy and have the experiences in classes fostered a deepening of my understanding, sense of connection, and comfort with on how I conceptualize my approach to interventions with clients across the lifespan and I look
