PhD, LPC, RPT-S joined Jessica Stone, PhD, RPT-S as co-chair of the Leadership Academy Committee, which works to annually review and recommend revisions to the Leadership Academy curriculum and observe and identify emerging leaders within the program.


Registration and Continuing Education Committee: Jamie Langley, LCSW, RPT-S succeeds Sueann Kenney-Noziska, LISW, RPT-S as Chair of the committee. This committee periodically reviews and recommends policy revisions to Play Therapy Credential and Approved Provider Continuing Education programs.


Research Committee: Yung-Wei (Dennis) Lin, PhD, LPC-C joined Dee Ray, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S as co-chair of the Research Committee, which focuses on fostering research that advances play therapy, especially those studies that generate evidence-based play therapy treatments. The Research Committee also reviews Research Awards nominations.

transfer of power Anne Stewart took


place on Saturday, October 5, 2019 during the APT Annual Conference whereby Anne Stewart, PhD, RPT-S succeeded Tami Langen, MSW, LISW-S, RPT-S as Chair of the Board. Anne, along with the entire 2018-2019 Board of Directors, thanked Tami for her service with some playful choreography!


On Thursday, October 3rd, Erin Dugan, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S was voted Chair-Elect during the Annual APT Board Meeting.
