likely due to time restraints. Also, apart from listening to case studies, participants are not invited to reflect on their own practice through experiential
learning prompts or exercises. This may impact play therapists’ felt engagement with the material.
Although Dr. Ashby’s use of humor in his presentation style may not appeal to everyone, he is a gifted speaker and his information and case studies highlight the importance of remaining prepared and responsive during ethical discussions in supervision. Overall, I would recommend this video-based CE course to other play therapists: The workshop content is important, applicable, and actionable in play therapy practice and supervision.
