Carbon Reduction through Energy Savings with Zero Debt or Investment
Everyone wants to reduce their carbon
footprint but that represents a roadblock when community associations already must deal with rising electric, gas, water, and sewer bills, along with increased cost of personnel and maintenance. Decarbonization of buildings, the grid, and our economy are going to require trillions of dollars that would divert that capital away from current operations and expenditures. Some associations simply don’t have the extra capital to spend on a carbon reduction plan, and getting owners to all agree on increasing monthly fees to go green might be a difficult thing to accomplish.
