Becoming a destination for agri-tour- ism could yield multiple benefits for you and for visitors, as you share the capabilities and value of the goats with people who want to see those things in action and ask questions of the manager — you!


If you want to benefit from the goats’ desire to consume weeds and brush, you could target either or both a profitable brush- busting business and/or one that helps to heal the natural world. The possibilities are almost endless: what do potential customers desire- need-want, what do you desire-need-want, and how could the goats help both of you achieve those aims at the same time? If I remember correctly that goats sleep approximately 8 out of each 24-hour period and spend roughly 8 hours chewing their cud, they could be harvesting forage for the re- maining 8 hours. Think of the possibilities, of what our goats could be doing for us, and trust me, not one goat would ever complain!
