Managers, board members, and business partners all seek a common value that they can nd in membership with CAI. All want to develop skills, build relaonships, and enhance leadership abilies. Success in today’s marketplace relies on networking, educaon, and representaon at Federal, State and local levels. CAI has been the leader in providing resources for community associaons across the country for more than 40 years.
Every current member, in his or her daytoday operaons, has the opportunity to be an advocate and encourage new members to join CAI. Remember, every handshake is a prospecve member! Don’t be discouraged when a prospecve member says, “no”. You’ll get them next me!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Lynne Hartmann, CMCA, AMS is Associa MidAtlanc, AAMC’s Vice President of Management and Client Services. She joined MAMCO in 2005 and became a member of the Pennsylvania & Delaware Valley Chapter of CAI later that same year.
In 2014, Lynne recruited 26 new members to CAI, the most new recruits in the calendar year. A member of CAI’s Membership Commiee, Lynne serves as CAI Member Ambassador at various programs and events throughout the year. .
