Te $10 million German-imported Earth Pressure Balance Machine was assembled onsite this spring. Mining work officially began on April 27 and is anticipated to take approximately 15 months to complete. As of April 2016, the project was
approximately halfway complete and had already hit several significant milestones along the path to its projected on-time completion in 2018.
