IHP Safety and AGC Partnership Delivers Solutions for Members

rom the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing today, AGC of California has been com-


mitted to providing solutions that help members manage the health and safety of their workers and navigate a host of rapidly changing local, state and national regulations and reporting requirements. One cornerstone of this effort has


been a partnership forged with Innovative Human Performance Safety (IHP Safety) in 2020. Tis partnership fills an essential niche by offering AGC members access to turnkey COVID-19 testing solutions as well as secure, HIPAA-compliant vaccination status tracking software services and other COVID health management services. AGC of California Health & Safety


Manager Brian Mello spearheaded the effort to identify a company that could de- liver a comprehensive array of COVID-19 management services to AGC members. “When Cal/OSHA proposed the first

going to be requirements for timely test- ing and an administrative burden that members might need help in managing,” he said. “We vetted multiple companies and chose to partner with IHP Safety to provide a variety of solutions tailored to our member needs.” Since 2019 IHP Safety has aligned


itself with multiple laboratories across the country as well as leading software providers to develop a reliable, fully HIP- PA compliant, efficient and highly secure network of COVID-19 testing and vaccine management services. Headquartered in White Plains, New York with operations throughout the U.S., the company serves construction industry clients as well as the film and television industries, corporate and manufacturing clients and school districts, among others. “We really can help document com-


pliance, reduce risk and liability and reduce the burden for HR departments and employers,” commented IHP Safety CEO Daniel Letizia. Teir partnership with


AGC has gained traction as “companies are trying to be proactive in thinking about the solutions they need to comply with the ETS and succeed in an effective manner while also reducing their own administrative burden,” he added.


Turnkey Testing Solutions IHP Safety tailors its specific testing solutions to individual company needs and priorities, whether the goal is quick turnaround time, cost factors, scalability or other criteria. The company offers coordination of the full spectrum of COVID-19 tests, from gold standard PCR to rapid anti- gen, cadence testing or pool testing. It is equipped to quickly deploy on-site diagnostic PCR testing by licensed RNs onto customer jobsites, or to help its clients source more affordable rapid antigen tests for employees – just two of an array of testing solutions that typically yield results in under 24 hours.
