AGC of California Connects Students and Employers with Summer Internship Opportunities

hether it is gaining hands-on experience or simply the opportunity to try out a spe-
cific career path or company to ensure they are a good fit, summer internships are an invaluable tool for students pursuing career paths in the construction industry. For construction industry employers, a well-run internship program offers a way

to add temporary resources on projects and to build their future workforce by creating a pipeline to bring new talent onboard. AGC of California’s Construction Ed-
ucation Foundation has helped connect AGC student chapter members with employers offering internship and em- ployment opportunities each year during
its CONSTRUCT annual conference. Tis year will be no exception, with a student chapter career fair slated for October 12 during CONSTRUCT 2023 in Rancho Mirage. California Constructor recently spoke
with three students in the middle of their summer internships to find out more about their experiences as well as with
