Constructor Awards Call for Entries AGC of California is calling for entries to the 2019 AGC


Constructor Awards program, honoring outstanding California construction projects substantially completed between January 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019. This year’s awards program features a number


of changes, from the event format and time to new categories and awards entries guidelines.


NEW EVENT FORMAT This year’s Awards Banquet will be combined with the Installation of


Officers Banquet and will take place in January 2020. This new event format will consist of one annual dinner “banquet,” which will honor the incoming AGC-CA Officers and President and honor the winners of the Constructor Awards, Achievement Awards, and the Construction Education Friend Award.


NEW CATEGORIES Based on member feedback, the 2019 Constructor awards offers new


AGC Legislative Summit In Sacramento May 21-22 AGC of California is rolling out an


all new format for its 2019 Legis- lative Summit, slated for May 21-22 in Sacramento. Part of the AGC advantage is


having a voice at the federal, state, and local level. AGC invites all members to actively take part in the summit, one component of its advocacy program that focuses on improving the business and economic livelihood of the construction industry. Come hear from key decision makers and help influence action on the 2,500 bills introduced in the legislature this season and the policies that matter to you. The new format will consist of


3 Legislative Sessions and Capitol Walks. The only AGC business meetings taking place at the Legislative Summit are Executive Committee, AGC/PAC, and AGC State Board of Directors. Plan to attend the summit and

 Builder (3 subcategories: Under $25 Million; $25 - $200 Million; Over $200 Million)


 Specialty (2 subcategories: Under $10 Million and Over $10 Million)  Excellence in Partnering


NO DISPLAY BOARDS To make entries easier, AGC-CA removed the display board requirement
