IA celebrates the industry through its show and awards IA ready to bring industry together for Irrigation Show


n Exciting events planned


Te 2022 Irrigation Show and Education Week, taking place Dec. 5-9 in Las Vegas, is packed full of educational and entertaining events to help attendees both connect with others in the industry and learn more about the latest irrigation and lighting technologies, products and innovations. Te Innovation Hub area of the exhibit hall will host events, announcements and


product demos, including a product demo presented by Superior on Dec. 7 on the value of irrigation valve maintenance and troubleshooting. Innovation Hub will also host the Pitch Competition on Dec. 7. Tis competition


features presentations by irrigation startup technology companies exhibiting in the Inno- vation Row section of the show floor. More networking and entertainment events are scheduled throughout the show week.


Te Viva Las Vegas Reception, sponsored by Smart Rain, on Dec. 6 kicks the show off to welcome everyone to Las Vegas. Attendees are invited to the Heritage Irrigation Show Concert on Dec. 7 featuring live bands at the famous Las Vegas House of Blues. Te Irrigation Association is bringing back its General Session on Dec. 8 that will


celebrate the industry, honor the 2022 IA award recipients and announce the winners of this year’s new product contest and Pitch Competition. To celebrate the last day of the trade show, the IA is hosting a Craft Brewfest, sponsored by Ewing, on the show floor on Dec. 8. n Industry Insights covers business and landscape topics


Industry Insights is a series of panel discussions and presentations offered to Irrigation Show attendees Dec. 6-8. Led by industry experts, these presentations will range from 30 minutes to an hour. Tis year’s Industry Insights will cover topics such as using social media and digital engagement in your business, landscape lighting design, business lead- ership techniques, the state of the green industry and drip irrigation. Twenty-two students and three educators have been selected as this year’s Irrigation E3 winners and will attend the 2022 Irrigation Show and Education Week in Las Vegas Dec. 5-9. Te IA’s E3 program focuses on providing students (E3 learners) and faculty members (E3 leaders) with exposure, experience and education that revolves around the irrigation industry. Tese winners will receive an education and travel award to attend the Irrigation Show and will have the opportu-


nity to take education classes, attend industry sessions, explore the trade show floor and spend time with the 2022 E3 program lead sponsor, Te Toro Company.
