APPLICABLE TO UNITED STATES DEALERS ONLY Discontinuation of the RENEWED Diesel

Particulate Filter (DPF) Program Letter Summary: Topic:

Program Update Purpose: Product Line: Program Update DPF Product Distribution: PDC and Direct Ship Discontinuation of the RENEWED Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Program

Navistar has made the difficult decision to discontinue the production of RENEWED line of remanufactured diesel particulate filters (DPFs) effective 8/1/2021. Current existing inventories will be sold to depletion; however, they will not be replenished. Ongoing application coverage will fall to the OEM new service counterparts. The primary reason for this move is the significantly reduced amount of good, re-useable core. This lack of core has made it impossible for the program to be economically sustained.

Because of this program change, Navistar is strategically adjusting the DNet pricing of the OEM service alternatives for the most popular RENEWED DPFs. You will see DNet reductions in the 10%-20% range. These new prices are effective as of 7/30/2021. See attached for the new updated pricing and cross reference chart.

We will continue to collect core. However, the core charges will be reduced by 40% to $600. Additionally, we will accept all core, including aftermarket DPFs, for credit. As always, we will continue to maintain a no deduct policy DPF cores, see G-letter G-07-10360-A for additional details. The new core charges will be effective with the September price book on September 27, 2021.

Navistar is not the first within our industry to make this move, and we do not expect to be the last.

When sharing this information with your customers, please also remind them of the value of using genuine International DPFs.
