EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT


Affton Radiator wants to recognize Mick Marsh. Mick is the company’s “long haul” delivery driver. So for the customers out in the rural areas that need service, Mick is the guy that helps get your parts back and forth for services needed.


Russel Schmitt has been with Roppel Industries in Evansville for 2 years. “He never stops and always thinks outside the box when it comes to figuring out how to repair or clean up customer parts,” said Dawn Wick, Manager at Roppel Industries’ Evansville location. “Yes, we have done the huge radiators and oil coolers etc for customers. But, it is the smaller details that also have to be taken care of. Without these, those parts don’t work. We already did the hydraulic tank and fuel tank for this job. It was all caught in a huge fire and burnt inside and out. They sent it to us and said what can you do if anything. Russ put his mind to it and fixed all the big parts then did these, inside and out.”


Larry Watson is one of the amazing shop technicians at West End Radiators in Canada. Larry fulfils a variety of specialized roles including on-site generator repairs and working on custom built radiators. His supervisors say they are always appreciative of Larry’s willingness to get the job done and to make customers happy. He’s the ultimate team player.


Stephen Coll is the latest employee to join the rapidly expanding G&M 25 year club! Stephen is in charge of G&M’s engineering and maintenance department. The knowledge and experience he has acquired in his time with G&M is invaluable in ensuring that production systems and manufacturing equipment is kept in perfect working order. Managing Director Jeff Thorpe presented him with the traditional gift and cake as thanks for his dedication and long service. Here’s to the next 25!
