Sheila Kleoppel Tara Sturtevant Michael Hackett William Murillo


Blue Ridge Bank and Trust Co. in Independence promoted four staff members. Sheila Kleoppel, vice president of core processing, has been with the bank for more than 40 years. She oversees the bank’s core systems operations, serves as the administrator for various systems platforms and plays a key role in the implementation of new products and services. Tara Sturtevant, vice president of treasury services, oversees the bank’s treasury services department and is responsible for assisting commercial clients with their


cash management needs and with the reduction of their administrative efforts and expenses. She has 20 years of banking experience, all with Blue Ridge Bank, with the majority spent in the treasury services department. Michael Hackett, vice president of information technology and lead network administrator, joined the bank in 2018. His responsibilities include design, install, configure and maintain IT systems, as well as providing business and systems analysis. William Murillo, assistant vice president of commercial lending, started his career at the bank in 2019 as a credit analyst for commercial loan review. His responsibilities include building and developing relationships with members of the community and providing commercial loan products to Kansas City businesses.


Brandy Wright Scott Jacobson


Brandy Wright was promoted to branch development officer at Branson Bank. She oversees market development for branch locations, develops training plans and continues growth with the relationship banker teams. Wright joined


the bank in 2019 and has worked in banking for nine years. Scott Jacobson was named vice president of consumer lending. He has more than 18 years of banking experience and has served as a mortgage assistant, personal banker and consumer loan officer.


Mikala Simons joined the mortgage team at Central Bank in Jefferson City. A longtime mortgage loan officer trainer, Simons trains new loan officers on the bank’s systems and various secondary market and portfolio products, including medical and business professional loans.

Tammy Lootens joined First Bank of the Lake in Osage Beach as vice president, online deposit manager. She is responsible for launching and managing a new digital online account opening platform for First Bank of the Lake. With more than 35 years of banking experience, Lootens specialized in data integrity, business analytics reporting, deposit systems specifications, core system administration and conversion.


Jerrod Harmon joined Legacy Bank and Trust in Springfield as vice president — commercial lender. Harmon, who began his banking career in 2015, prides himself on creating and developing deep customer relationships. His primary niche is commercial real estate.

Mid America Bank in Jefferson City announced Mark Luebbert has transitioned from bank president and CEO to executive chairman of the board of directors and is overseeing several functions of the bank’s holding company, including strategic projects. Luebbert has more than 36 years of banking experience and has been with Mid America Bank for 16 years. During this time, the bank grew from $90 million to $850 million in assets, including the recent acquisition of Bank of St. Elizabeth. Steve Linton


was promoted to president and CEO. He is responsible for the overall leadership of the bank and its culture and works with staff to develop and implement strategy, target operational efficiencies and evaluate opportunities for business expansion. Linton has more than 30 years of banking experience and has served as Mid America Bank’s executive vice president for the last year. Melissa Huhn was promoted to assistant vice president, loan processing manager. She is responsible for all aspects of the loan processing department, including ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all loans, renewals and modifications and assisting in the management of the bank’s core system. Seth Perkins joined the bank’s Belle location as a loan officer. Perkins, who began his banking career in 2018, assists customers with their consumer, residential, commercial and agricultural loan needs.
