Her banking career spanned 20 years.Ava “Dani” Grubaugh retired aſter 23 years of service as a bookkeeper. Mary McCreary, who joined the bank in 2018, also announced her retirement.

Guaranty Bank in Springfield promoted Janet Richardson to operations officer, payment & digital banking manager. Richardson joined the bank in 2007 as a call center representative. She was promoted to operations administrator in 2011 and
deposit operations specialist in 2016. She was most recently CIF manager, a position she has held since 2018. Richardson has nearly 25 years of banking experience. Carrie Eakins was promoted to assistant retail banking manager at the bank’s 2144 W. Republic Road location. Eakins has nearly five years of banking experience, beginning her career when she joined the bank as a teller in 2017. She was promoted to market branch banker representative in 2019 and market branch banker specialist in early 2021.

Mid America Bank in Jefferson City promoted Jake Taggart to vice president, senior credit officer. As the bank’s lead credit officer, he facilitates the production and underwriting of commercial credit. He has more than 15 years of banking
experience. Michelle Abbott joined the bank as vice president treasury management officer. She is responsible for sales, administration and development of the bank’s treasury management products and services, as well as digital banking solutions. She has 24 years of banking experience.

Aſter 17 years of dedicated service, Cyd Everett, director of retail lending at Great Southern Bank in Springfield, retired Dec. 31. Everett’s banking career spanned 44 years, beginning in 1977 in her hometown of Eminence, Missouri. Everett joined Great Southern Bank in 2004 as a commercial lender and later served as a commercial lending market manager. In 2010, she was promoted to her current role and was responsible
for overseeing the bank’s residential and consumer lending, business and treasury services, merchant services and VIP Banking.
