MBA Welcomes Bankers to Board of Directors
The Missouri Bankers Association is pleased to welcome these bankers to the MBA Board of Directors. These bankers were elected by their peers at the 2021 MBA Executive Management Conference to serve as at-large directors on the board. Their three- year terms begin in June 2022.
AT-LARGE DIRECTOR Joselyn Baldner
Joselyn Baldner is president and CEO of Central Bank in Springfield. Baldner joined Central Bank in 2005 and has nearly 25 years of bank management experience. A graduate of MBA’s Missouri Banking Leadership program, Baldner has served on MBA’s Ozark PAC Committee. She is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking — Wharton Leadership Program.
AT-LARGE DIRECTOR Marilyn Bush
Bank of America, St. Louis Marilyn Bush serves as the president of Bank of America St. Louis. As president, she is responsible for connecting the banking and investment resources offered through the eight lines of business to companies, families and individuals in St. Louis. She is the business banking market executive for the Gateway Market, serving private sector companies in eastern Missouri and southern Illinois. A 37-year veteran of Bank of America, Bush previously served as St. Louis Market Integration Executive.
AT-LARGE DIRECTOR Kevin Gibbens
Simmons Bank, Columbia An executive vice president with Simmons Bank, Kevin Gibbens of Columbia serves as division chairman for the Missouri/Oklahoma/Texas Community Bank division. He previously was president and CEO of Landmark Bank in Columbia and its holding company, Te Landrum Company, for 10 years. He moved into his current role with Simmons when it purchased Te Landrum Company/Landmark Bank in 2019. A banker for more than 35 years, Gibbens has served on MBA’s Board of Directors and the Legislative Affairs Committee.
