Elder Emeritus Reginald Johnson
Whereas Reginald Johnson has been a long-time member of White Oak ARP Church, and, Whereas, he was ordained as a deacon in 1957, and, Whereas, he was ordained as a Ruling Elder in 1975, and, Whereas, he has served faithfully and repeatedly in those offices, and, Whereas, he has served several terms as Congregational Chairman, and, Whereas, he has served as Clerk of Session for many years, and, Whereas, over the years, he did extensive legal work for the church, and, Whereas, he has given of himself in many ways for the overall good of White Oak ARP Church and its members, and, Whereas, he and his wife, Jane, have been examples of a Christian couple and servants of Jesus Christ,
Therefore, be it resolved, with praise to God, that the Session and Congregation of White
Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Senoia, Georgia, expresses its heartfelt ap- preciation, gratitude, and high acclamation, and commends Reginald Johnson as Elder Emer- itus on this date, December 22, 2019?
Elder Emeritus William (Bill) Vincent T
he Elders at Oak Ridge ARP Church in Heath Springs, SC, thank God for the life of a beloved Elder Emeritus.
William Lewis Vincent, 84, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020. Bill was an example of a godly man and was faithful in
his service to the Lord. His spiritual legacy can be seen in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Bill had a love that was contagious and was always sharing the Gospel with oth- ers, even with the hospital staff during his final days. His life was an example for the Elders of Oak Ridge and our Congre- gation. While he will be missed we thank God for the gift of Bill’s life to our church.
