The concrete porch was settling, and water dam- age had occurred to support beams of the porch and sanctuary itself. Of course, there were some unexpected repairs required due to water and termite damage. A semicircular concrete area was added along with sidewalks and a handicap ramp. We welcomed over 86 guests to our worship service, which was led by Rev. H. Neely Gaston. Following the service, attendees gathered on the front porch for a group picture. We ended the celebration with a wonderful catered meal under the tent that had been set up adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.

Church of the Atonement Celebrates 75 Years Rev. MacDougall Ordained at Edgemont ARP Church

Church of the Atonement in Silver An afternoon of

family fun followed by a barbeque dinner under a tent took place on the grounds of our daughter church, Faith Presbyterian in Olney. Pastor Mowen surprised us with a video compilation of greetings from many of our former pastors as well as photos that elicited lots of laughs and fond memories. Sunday morning was a special worship ser- vice to commemorate the occasion.
