Ora ARP Church is looking for a pastor. Located in a rural community near Laurens, SC, the church has been an ARP church since at least 1790. Information about the church can be found at

The church has a part time secretary and a part time treasurer, so other duties such as preaching, visiting, and administration would be the re- sponsibility of the pastor. Ora does have 6 capable deacons that handle elders. The deacons and the elders use a rotation system.
Ora currently has several children that are age 7 and below along with their parents. The church has an ac- tive Women’s Ministries program as well as a dedicated choir. Average attendance on Sundays is 50, and the membership is 120. The church’s - nual budget is $150,000 for the year 3 full bath brick house with a 2 car carport across the road from the church. This house can be used by - ments can be made for housing.
Minimum education requirements are at least a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Divinity. Interested can- didates would need to already be or- dained in the ARP church or be able to stand before the ARP Second Pres- bytery for examination before ordina- tion.
