GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS FOR JOYFUL CHURCH OF NEW YORK


MISSIONS TEAM TO EL SALVADOR All Joyful Church Team members (Pastor Hong Suk Kim, four Korean ladies, six Korean youth, three Korean adults including a dentist, plus three Spanish adults, and Rev. GJ Gerard, World Witness Volunteer in Missions (a total of 18), arrived safely in El Salvador on Sunday and Monday, July 2nd and 3rd, and returned home safely on Saturday the 8th of July, 2023. The Missions Team had a very full and busy schedule starting on Monday afternoon. Outreach events were held at four locations on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Korean ladies set up an eye clinic at each location, gave eye examinations, and distributed nearly 500 pairs of glasses to the eagerly awaiting persons. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the dentist, with two assistants, set up a dental clinic. Over the three-day period he extracted more than 50 decayed and damaged teeth. Each day the Korean youth sponsored a children’s ministry program with Gospel pre- sentations and craft programs, including bracelets with yellow, black, red, - tion and Eternal Life). Over 100 bracelets were crafted, and the children proudly wore them. Each evening there was a worship service featuring music and drama and a Gospel message. A special 2-hour farewell service was held on Friday, followed by a Thanksgiving Dinner for the Team and members of the host church.


Praise to GOD for the very welcome response from all the people, adults, youth, and children.
