and true and have stood the test of time. They are words that hold the outdoor amusement industry together in good times and in bad.

Many did not even realize, despite a great deal of communication, that their dues had lapsed. We must turn this trend around.


The OABA is here for our industry 24/7. Whatever the need, large or small, our staff and directors will render the best advice, make the best referral, or sometimes will just listen to your concerns. When an industry-wide event takes place, such as the recent derogatory AT&T commercial, the OABA is here to communicate your concerns on a large scale. In other words, OABA is here when you need us. During the recent AT&T incident, the staff fielded several calls and emails a day for several weeks. Forty percent of individuals who communicated with us were not current members. We still listened and expressed your concerns to AT&T. However, the benefits of a membership organiza- tion should be for members. We can’t continue to provide
