Spring Board Meeting —DC Legislative Day


On May 1, twenty members of our Board of Directors advocated on your behalf to twenty-two federal legislators and staff in Washington DC. They volunteered their time and financial resources to spend the day talking to legislators about three important issues that affect our industry. Of course, they spoke about the importance of permanent H2B cap relief, and without which it is very difficult for our industry to stay vibrant and support the thousands of non-profits that rely on our industry for funding. They also spoke about the Mobile Workforce State Income Tax Simplification Act of 2019 and Mobile Housing language change that requires our industry to provide mobile housing at our own expense. These important issues will stay on the forefront of our federal advocacy.
