Organizational Relationships: An Instructor in Veterinary Technology reports to a department chair or associate dean Minimum Requirements: Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from AVMA accredited program required; licensed DVM. Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and eligibility for D.E.A. con- trolled substance registration required. Significant small animal clinical experience recommended. Evidence of in- structional or teaching experience preferred. Additional Desirable Qualifications: Teaching experience in a higher education environment.
