Throughout our meetings, the Mission - To educate, advocate for and inspire venue professionals worldwide - is the cornerstone of the conversations and leads directly to the promise of “Inspiring Leaders,   there is a clear connection to the Board Governance Policies, which include Results Policies that focus on member education, advocacy, and professional advancement.          - opment, growing and diversifying the leaders in our industry; Gover- nance, detailing how aspiring leaders become Board Members; Audit,       creating strategies for improving the Board’s communication of pro- grams and initiatives. inclusively give all IAVM members an equal opportunity to engage in IAVM for the betterment of all. If someone is paying dues, they should have a voice. IAVM values and awards knowledge and experience but as of now, when you retire or become an Honorary member, you are denied the right to vote. This seems to say that these long-time members are less

important or their knowledge is less valuable.
