Our church surrounded the Janzen Family
on June 20 to celebrate the completion of their family of five children who God brought togeth- er through adoption. God has answered many prayers through the process and we continue to stand with Jeremy and Amy as they bring up this beautiful family to love and honor God.
We are being challenged as a congregation
this summer to practice scripture memory. A packet of ten verses was made available to every- one who wanted to participate. We review the verses together on Sunday morning and try to keep each other accountable throughout the week. In addition to the personal value of meditating on the scriptures, we can be “ready” when we have an opportunity to share with others the truth of God’s Word.
