cfc-wpg.org We continue our search for a pas-
tor. Please join us in prayer for this. We continue to offer Awana on-
line. We have 20 clubbers, representing five families, joining in. In lieu of Vaca- tion Bible School this past summer we ran Bible Box Camp. We continue to deliver boxes to these homes on special occasions. Te theme for the Valen- tine’s delivery was “Agape Love,” which will provide a good preparation for the planned Easter boxes.
Our Zoom church services are
well attended. We are learning disciple- ship skills.

faithebc.net As we all search for renewal
following a frustrating and difficult year of disappointment and pain, our church will be launching “Focus for 40” on February 17 through April 3. It is a time to prepare, remember, and anticipate the resurrection of our Savior. Tis will encourage people to actively prepare for a celebration of Resurrection Sunday, just as we prepare
for Christmas with Advent devotions, decorations, and activities. People can take part as individuals, couples, or families; each choosing an activity that will daily lead them to Jesus. Suggestions include scripture memory, journaling, reading through the gos- pels, creating a craſt or wall poster as a visual, or a commitment to rising 15 minutes early for solitude with the Sav- ior. “Resurrection Rejoice Sunday” will be a celebration! Jesus Christ is alive!!! Aſter a light breakfast together, we will have a time of sharing testimonies before going into our regular worship service. We are also encouraged to pray for someone who needs the Lord and invite them to our Easter service.
Our church is privileged to
offer a virtual event with Voice of the Martyrs, “Imprisoned for Christ,” on March 7. Speakers include Petr Jasek, Andrew Brunson, and Dan Baumann. Seeking to share God’s love in three different Muslim nations, each was arrested, interrogated, and imprisoned. Although all three struggled to find God’s purpose in their suffering, they ultimately recognized His faithfulness and love amid desperate circumstances.
We also look forward to partici-
pating in Community Bible Church of Omaha’s Ladies Spring Event by satel- lite on March 27, with speaker Linda Dillow and her daughter, Jessa.
We are privileged to participate
in serving at the People’s City Mission in Lincoln and will again be sending a group on March 14. We are grateful for this opportunity to be the hands of Jesus reaching out in love to a very needy world.
We are grateful that the
COVID-19 restrictions have been eased in our area and we have been able to meet at church in person. Awana and youth groups have remained strong throughout the year. For those who are at-risk, we offer services online and communicate through e-mail and other
technology as we seek to encourage those who are homebound.
