The deacons have set up a benevo- lence fund.
In late February, under tight
restrictions, Perry and Sharon Harder planned a trip to Chad, Africa, to greet and meet their newborn granddaughter born to their daughter, Sierra, and her husband, Ethan. Tey are serving with PIONEERS in that country. Two year old Gideon welcomes his sister.
A “Time-(to)-Change” planned
a meal and time of fellowship on March 14 to celebrate the loosening of COVID-19 guidelines following the morning service.
Ladies of the church have been
invited by Community Bible Church in Omaha, Nebraska, to join the “Find Hope in a Crazy, Out-of-con- trol World” live-stream event held on March 27.
On Sunday, March 28, Angela
Miller, serving the Lord with Ride by Faith — a ministry of InFaith — gave a report to us. Ride by Faith is a Christian ministry that uses horses to interact with school age children to teach them about the love of Jesus. Tis same day, the church viewed a video produced by Fred and Desi Schmidt of Missionary Aviation Fellowship. Te Schmidts currently serve at the MAF Headquarters in Nampa, Idaho, in the Purchasing/Shipping Department for MAF Worldwide operations. Te Schmidts have currently dedicated a year of their lives in Indonesia, where a son’s family serve and reside. Te Schmidts work with the aviation students.

Dalmeny Bible Church Dalmeny, Saskatchewan Dennis Friesen, Pastor
www.dalmenybiblechurch.ca As a church we meet together on
Sunday mornings for two services with no more than 30 people allowed at
each service. Our services are recorded and available to see on YouTube. Pastor Dennis is going through the Book of Revelation in a series called “Worthy.” Youth program runs on two evenings a week. We reach out to the youth on our church Facebook page for a time of sto- ry, teaching, and song. We’re thankful that we can at least meet together like this but we are looking forward to the day when all restrictions will be liſted!
Valentine treats were handed out
to those who attended the services in person on February 14. We will also honor mothers on Mother’s Day by giving them a treat.
During the school break in Feb-
ruary, the gym was available for one family at a time to come one and play. All who came out enjoyed themselves.

Kenora Bible Church Kenora, Ontario
kenorabiblechurch.ca During our most recent lockdown,
we were excited to realize that although church gatherings were limited to 10 people, those gatherings could take place in homes as well as the church building. So, for several weeks we had “home churches” where we fellow- shipped and worshipped together in small groups while live-streaming the church service. We were very thank- ful to return together to the church building and Sunday school at the end of February.

Humboldt Bible Church Humboldt, Saskatchewan Sean Brandow, Pastor
humboldtbiblechurch.ca Like many others, we are unsure
of what the restrictions for COVID-19 will be around Easter. Our hope is to be able to celebrate with our whole
church family together. For the past couple of months we have switched to doing two church services, in order to accommodate our church family with the restrictions in place. We are very thankful that, so far, we are still allowed to meet, even if it has to be in smaller groups. We have also continued to put our sermons on YouTube.
In the past, we have done a joint
Good Friday service with the other evangelical churches in Humboldt. It begins with a pancake breakfast put on by the youth group. It has always been a great time of fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters.
Although our Good Friday and
Easter services will look different this year, we are still excited to celebrate. Our decorating committee is working on building a tomb out of paper mache to display on the stage.
For Mother’s Day, our social
committee always comes up with a special giſt for the ladies in the church. It is different and unique every year. Last year the ladies each received a bag of cookie dough mix, along with the recipe. Te board members helped in delivering these giſts, since we weren’t meeting in person. We look forward to seeing what they have in store for the ladies this year!
