FELL OWSHIP VIEWS News from Crosspoint

by HANNAH SCHAFER God is providing for Crosspoint Bible Church in Oma- ha, Nebraska, in some amazing ways. Crosspoint has experienced multiple staffing changes the past three years, which has come with some difficulties. How- ever, those difficulties brought the Crosspoint family closer together and we are now able to celebrate these staffing updates together and praise the Lord for his provision!

In June, we welcomed James Richardson as our new Director of Admin- istration and Global Im- pact. James has a history serving in both admin- istrative roles, as well as leading short-term mission trips. He and his wife, Christina, served with ReachGlobal in Mexico City from 2016- 2019. While there, they provided discipleship, counseling, financial oversight, and minis-

try guidance in various church planting leadership capacities. James’ passion for missions and his admin- istrative gifting makes him a great fit for this position. As the Director of Administration and Global Impact, James hopes to disciple the Crosspoint Bible Church body and to support global partners by helping them to understand and reflect God towards one another and their communities. James, Christina, Taylor, and Noah, moved to Omaha in June from Castaic, Califor- nia. We are so excited they’ve come to Crosspoint and can’t wait to see how God will use them!

Now, a few months later, we have called Hayden Nor- ris to step into the role of lead pastor. Hayden, his wife Heather, and his children, Ben, Susanna, and Adrian joined us in early September. Hayden accepted Christ in his late twenties through a coffee shop ministry

while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. He and his fami- ly come from Holtville, Cali- fornia, where he served as a lead pastor. Over his career, he has served as a youth pastor, planted a church, and served as an associate pastor. His dynamic work background and energetic person- ality will make for a great fit for Crosspoint. We’re looking forward to seeing his passion and the fresh perspective he brings to our church.

We are so grateful for these men and their passion and excitement to serve the Crosspoint family. God has provided them for us and we can’t wait to see what other ways the Lord will provide for us as we tran- sition! As of the writing of this article, we still have multiple associate pastor openings. We have one active search team. We continue to pray for God's provision.

Hannah Schafer is a member of Crosspoint Bible Church in Omaha, Nebraska. She serves in full-time ministry as administrative assistant at Child Evangelism Fellowship of Omaha.
