2025 Goal Setting Workshop Recap

On August 5th, industry professionals from across Orange County gathered for an energizing Goal Setting Workshop hosted by CAI-OC’s Emerging Leaders and Mentorship Committee. Designed to blend personal development with professional clarity, the session welcomed managers, business partners, and leaders at all stages of their careers. During the workshop, participants were encouraged to refl ect, write, and share their goals using structured frameworks, such as SMART and FAST (described below). From drafting action plans to building personal brand statements, each section of the event offered hands-on tools for setting meaningful goals and overcoming real-world barriers. Highlights included a professional branding session that fostered self-awareness and collaborative table discussions that promoted connection and accountability.


The session closed with a powerful quote from Francis of Assisi and a forward-looking challenge: take one step this week, no matter how small, to move toward your goal. With the ongoing support of CAI’s continuing education and mentorship opportunities, attendees left equipped to lead with purpose and intention.
