The highlight of the 2025 CAI-OC Awards Gala was the presentation of the May Russell Lifetime Achievement Award. There were many amazing nominees considered for this prestigious award, but one individual stood out above the rest for his combination of commitment, passion, and countless contributions to the Chapter – Jamie Hackwith.
Jamie’s membership in CAI began in 2004 and over the past 20 years he has become a pillar of the Orange County Chapter. His contributions have spanned every facet of the organization, from committee leadership and advocacy to education and mentorship. Jamie’s career progression and his commitment to CAI reflect the essence of this award.
Shortly after joining CAI, Jamie became an active member of the original Social Committee, where he served for five years. This Committee was foundational in organizing events that are cornerstones of the Chapter today, including the Chapter awards gala.
