CAI-OC Awards Dinner & Gala

Y’all, the March 1st Chapter Boots & Bling Gala was a hats- off hoedown! There was lots of glitz and glamour with spiffy cowboys and gussied-up cowgirls fi xin’ to have a good time while honoring the award nominees who have shown exceptional dedication to the Chapter and the community association industry. I’ll tell you what - the air was cool from the ocean breezes, and the divine sunsets were pretty as pretty does.
Down yonder at the Pasea Hotel, folks packed in and enjoyed the nostalgic feelings of good old-fashioned country fun. Nearly 400 attendees rekindled with friends and colleagues they hadn’t seen in a month of Sundays while enjoying a social atmosphere where they could eat at their leisure, kick up their heels, and enjoy the music of Daniel Bonte and the Bona Fide.
2024 President Bob Spillar was on hand to present well- deserved awards, highlighting the nomineess hard work and achievements in 2024, and to give the President’s Award to Allison Lewis, whose energy, positivity, and encouragement drove Bob’s engagement at the Chapter. Theresa Hirshman, recipient of the 2024 May Russell Award, was also on hand to give the prestigious award to the 2025 winner. Jamie Hackwith, CMCA, AMS, PCAM.
In the end, attendees were worn slap out with all
the dancing, laughter, and heartfelt congratulations for the nominees and winners. Everyone left feeling energized, happy, inspired, and nothing shy of being dog-tired. What a night!
