Former AGC CEF Scholarship Recipient Pays It Forward

By removing barriers to education, we’re helping to cultivate a skilled and diverse workforce that will drive innovation and success in construction for years to come.” During the past 13 years, the AGC CEF
has awarded 554 scholarships and grants totaling nearly $1 million to deserving individuals. 2011 AGC CEF President’s Scholarship recipient Jose Buenrostro is one such individual. Now a project ex- ecutive at DPR Construction, Buenrostro was selected by the late Bob Christensen, 2010 President of AGC of California, for the honor. Sadly, Christenson passed away in late 2023 after a brief illness, but his legacy in the California construction industry lives on. Recently, Buenrostro paid it forward,
