IN GRA

IN GRACE

center of all the thoughts of all the prophets - Our advocate, our media- tor, our intercessor, our shepherd, our Savior, our Lord, The Lamb who was slain, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. The only One worthy to open the Scroll. Do you KNOW Him? If so, is He just an acquaintance? Or do you KNOW Him with an active, increas- ing, hungry knowledge? In other words, are you GROWING in Him and His grace? Here is the challenge I bring today:

to the Associate Reformed Presby- terian Church, to the 8 presbyteries, to every Session, to every minister, elder, and church member: Make Je- sus the center of everything you do. Everything you do, not just in Sunday worship, but in your homes and the         meetings, your counseling sessions, your prayers, your singing, your mis- sion trips, your church planting, your board meetings. Make Him the center.  would not exist, even Bonclarken may not exist <<gasp>> if it were not for the Work accomplished and the Work continuing of our Risen Lord. And none of this would exist with- out the apostles knowing and grow- ing together. They like the psalmist proclaimed his wondrous deeds, his might, his power to the next genera- tion, and the next, and the next. Let it continue with us. Let it never be said that the ARP failed in this. We ARPs love to celebrate our      years to follow, let us be connected in Jesus, by Jesus, for Jesus. Let us be proud of our heritage in Jesus, boast- ing only in Him. And when other de- nominations see and hear about us, may they know from what they see and hear from you and me that Jesus truly is at the center of everything we are doing. Let us say, with Joshua, as for me and you and this house, we will serve the Lord. Amen.
