• In consideration of the 100th Anniversary of the formation of the 1926 Synod Committee that led to the production of the Bible Songs book that the Moderator form a special committee made up of three ministers, two elders, and two advisory members who loves the Bible Songs and to present a report to the 2027 General Synod on the positive role of psalm singing in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church!
• That the Synod direct the Board of Stewardship to consider the inclusion of the Brice-Sanders/Camp Joy Foundation in the regular budget allotment of the DMF fund starting in budget year 2028.

Moderator and Vice Moderator-Elect
Retired ARP minister Jamie Hunt said, “Synod deserves good leadership.” Synod needs a younger man who is mature and dis- cerning. “Our Synod is near a turning point. My generation is go- ing away. Leadership is in the next generation.” Rev. Mark Miller served as an intern at Coddle Creek ARP
Church. His campus minister told him he would never make a preacher. Miller has a photographic memory and does not forget information or duties. He is a family man, married to a judge, and has seven children. Jonathan Williams, pastor of First ARP Lancaster, seconded the motion, saying, “We are made by our teachers. I pray I have been shaped by him.” Williams was youth director and associate pastor of Clover ARP Church with Mark Miller. “Mark is one of the most powerful preachers of the Word of God. The cornerstone of his ministry is visiting in the homes. He - tor’s pastor,” Williams said. “Mark’s highest goal is to lift up Jesus Christ.”
The Rev. Mark Miller won by acclamation. He then nominated Steve Maloney for vice moderator. Maloney is an elder at Tirzah ARP Church. “He is a worker, an entrepreneur, and a handiman. He is capable, dependable, and kind-hearted. He loves the Lord, the church, children, and Bible Songs,” Miller said. Retired ARP minister John Rogers presented the second, say-
ing, “We served together on Minister and His Work Committee on Catawba Presbytery. He loves the Lord and loves the Church. He is willing to work. You give him a job, and he will get it done and by the book.”
