Since Resurrection week, I have been preaching on the appearances of Christ. In the past several weeks I continued into the Acts of the Apostles. This week I will be preaching on Acts 2:42-47. I have been blessed, as probably many of you as well, by Dr Boice breaks this portion of his commentary into four points.
• A Learning, Studying Church This is a characteristic of our blessed denomination. The faithful preaching of the Gospel from pulpits across our denomina- tion week in and week out. It is one of the most refreshing and renewing parts of our assembly here. While we assemble here to do the work/business of the church. In between those sessions, we receive bold reminders through the right handling of God’s Word to help guide and guard the decisions we make.
