day and time to which you will make your calls. Have all the information at your fingertips so you know exactly what and how you will ad- dress your conversation. Thirdly, TAKE ACTION! Be confident and


intentional with your call. Remember, these people work for you. Always be respectful but


firm; you get way more with honey than you get with vinegar. Your first call will of course by human nature be your most uncomfortable, but surprisingly enough, you may find it easier


than you anticipated. This will be your first shift moving out of your comfort zone boundaries. While moving out of your comfort zone you will be facing fears that may increase your stress, exposing some limiting beliefs about yourself. Unfortunately, this discomfort is something you need to get used to in order to grow and push forward. Fourthly, ADJUST AS YOU GO! You may not be successful in some of your attempts. Do not let one (1) or two (2) people de- rail you from your mission. Continue on, not everyone is against your ide- als. You will feel so good about your- self when you have achieved positive results even though it cost you a little stress. There are so many benefits in your


personal and business life that can be enhanced and helpful when we step out of our comfort zone. It certainly is worth all the effort and then some. Getting back to our case of recruiting as many members to sign onto our Senate and House bills, if you have any vested interest in the continuance of this great industry and you have VOCAL CORDS, there is no excuse for you not to make phone calls, vis- it your local or federal legislative of- fices and use your voice to stand up for the survival of our carnival world. We would all hate for our way of life to become extinct because good people did nothing! Remember the song by Simon and
