Contributing Trough CCCA Section Cabinets


An extensive network of chapters, or what we call sections, exists for CCCA camp and conference members across the U.S. With 23 sections, it’s easy to connect with camp leaders on a local level. Each year, every section holds its own conference, called a sectional, for a time of networking for encouragement, inspiration and training. Tese yearly sectionals are planned by the section cabinet. A cabinet is


typically comprised of an elected section president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer and other members as needed. Te cabinet will oſten recruit other members to be part of the sectional planning committee. All that is required of planning committee members is a willingness to serve and offer personal experience and time to the effort. Te cabinet is responsible for securing a location for the event, planning


the programming, promotion, hospitality, workshops, exhibitors or vendors and more. Tey typically meet quarterly or monthly. Do you love planning events and connecting with other camping leaders?
