The SIR 2025 Global Society Summit was a success! At a time when more communication and collaboration are so important, the following organizations came together for a discussion on the future of IR:

SIR and SIR Foundation welcome new leaders at SIR 2025 SIR and SIR Foundation’s 2025–2026 leadership slate took offi ce following the April 1 Members’ Business Meeting, held in conjunction with the SIR 2025 Annual Scientifi c Meeting, March 29–April 2, in Nashville. Honoring achievements


Congratulations to SIR’s 39 new Fellows who were inducted during SIR 2025 in Nashville. This honor is bestowed to those who have demonstrated excellence in interventional radiology by virtue of research and published works, teaching, and leadership within the fi eld, along with contributions and involvement within the society.

Celebrating the beginning


Some of the earliest members of the interventional radiology community joined SIR in celebrating its 50th anniversary at SIR 2025. Lewis M. Halin, DO, FSIR, was one of these early members and the fi rst DO to be accepted as a fellow of the society. Pictured, Dr. Halin received applause during the SIR 2025 Fellows dinner.
