you who have not yet written to contribute your voices to diversity of our members, personally and professionally, and the inclusiveness we champion in our communities.
I want to bring you up to date on the Chapter’s Alternative “open for business” in October and will offer low cost, disputes arising in community associations, such as those protection areas, trees and views, parking, pets, reasonable accommodations, insurance deductibles, covenant and rule enforcement, and others. A person will be able to initiate mediation session conducted by a trained, neutral mediator, assist in contacting the second party about participating.
For those of you not familiar with it, mediation is a process in which the parties are assisted by a trained, agreement. One of the beauties of mediation is that the parties themselves decide on the terms of any agreement; the mediator facilitates the process but does not act as a decider. Mediation has been shown to be highly effective in resolving disputes in a positive way. Please watch your
