A Socially Distanced Mardi Gras in July

time since March, when the Coronavirus rocked our state, country and world, we had the chance to come together, communicate and say “Hi!” at Glendale Country Club in Bellevue, WA. And… we got to do it in person (albeit under the parameters of proper Covid-19 protocol).

The Mardi Gras themed WSCAI golf tournament, will not be one to forget, as it was conducted during a pandemic - the scale of which none of us has heretofore experienced. Despite the uncertainty, the day was deemed a success – complete with a full 144 player tournament tee sheet, Business Partner  prizes we have all come to enjoy. Through the recollections of many of the tournament participants, more than anything it was simply “Great to see people in person again!” We may not have been able to see many faces (due to the mask wearing practice of the day) but there sure were a lot of smiling eyes!

A huge thanks to all of the Business Partners who participated in the golf tournament, especially Columbia Bank recognized as the tournament’s Gold Level Sponsor. Thank you to Michelle and Tracy (and the rest of the WSCAI staff) who went to great, unprecedented lengths to make sure the day would come to fruition. Thank you to all the volunteers and members of the Social Committee for donating time and resources to make the tournament a success – especially Toni Hahn, who worked as hard as ever crossing the “T’s” and dotting the “I’s”.

Thank you again! Continue to stay healthy and safe!
