I enjoy the annual search for the cards that will spread kindness and cheer to those that receive them.Taking the time over a couple of weeks to send a warm greeting to each of my loved ones brings joy to me. In turn, receiving cards and well wishes for the holidays and the new year to come lifts my holiday spirits as I proudly display them throughout the season. I also enjoy displaying a special collection of vintage and antique holiday cards with cordial seasonal messages from a bygone era.

Many years later and I am now coordinating with the local chapter of the Neighborhood Food Project, https:// neighborhoodfoodproject.org, to assist our local food bank get their most needed items in stock through targeted hyper-local donations. The holiday months are hard and this really helps our food-insecure neighbors get what they need for their holiday events.
