Will Bailey co-owns Avid Landscape Management, LLC, focused on developing and managing high-quality, sustainable landscapes. He holds a B.S. in Urban Forestry from the University of Washington and completed the Executive Development Program at UW’s Foster School of Business. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, ecoPRO Certified Sustainable Landscape Professional, and a Landscape Industry Certified Technician.


Hilary Bublitz, CMCA, AMS is the Association Director for Mill Creek Community Association, a 3500+ door community association in Mill Creek, WA. Hilary is a member of the WSCAI Legislative Action Committee and is passionate about making all community associations the best places to live in Washington state.


Tom Burgess, LICM schooled in landscape design in the UK. He started his career in the Northwest with the nationally recognized Hendrikus Schraven Group, going on to work in business development and operational roles with Northwestern Landscape, TruGreen LandCare, and Signature Landscape Services, where as a minority owner, he was instrumental in introducing sustainable management practices.


John Ellis is a longtime employee of BrightView Landscapes where he works as a Senior Business Development Manager in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to BrightView, John worked on the horticultural side of golf where he managed the maintenance and playability of grass surfaces. A father of two great kids and an avid golfer himself, in his free time he likes to golf and coach youth sports.


Lisa Hanses is an Associate and Business Development & Creative Director at Amento Group, a consulting firm providing solutions for building problems. She is an active member of WSCAI and currently serves on the Outreach Committee. Outside the office Lisa is a football and lacrosse cheerleader for her son.


Ila Kane, CMCA, AMS is a Community Association Manager at EMB - Associa with a specialization in HOA and Developer clients, primarily with new and transitioning developments. She has been working in community association management in the greater Puget Sound for over four years. She’s a member of the WSCAI Made for Managers Day Committee and loves getting involved in WSCAI events, even virtually.


Timothy Lecours has 35+ years of experience in the landscaping industry, with over 3 years as part of the BrightView family. He is their resident irrigation expert and highly skilled in all Rain Bird Water efficiency products. Timothy is landscape Industry certified in Irrigation Association Advanced Landscape irrigation design and management. He is also certified in OSHA’s confined space program.


Marc Leonard is an associate consultant with Davey Resource Group. Marc consults association managers on tree care and protection, including risk assessments, appraisals, inventories, and management plan development. He brings expertise in arboriculture, ecological restoration, landscape design, land management, habitat preservation, and invasive species. Marc is ISA certified with advanced credentials in Utility Arboriculture.


Dean Martin, Esq. specializes in construction defect litigation, devoting his practice to condominium and multi-family residential cases. This includes successfully prosecuting claims against developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and their insurance companies. Dean also assists his clients with their general counsel issues. Outside the office, Dean is an avid fly fisher, golfer and the proud father of two.


Trent Nelson is an Aquatic Specialist at SOLitude Lake Management. He focuses on helping managers and communities maintain healthy, balanced aquatic ecosystems and enjoys educating them on the importance of sustainable freshwater management. Trent has spent more than a dozen years working closely with homeowner’s associations, golf courses, and municipalities.


Ian Scott is an Area Manager and urban forestry specialist for Davey Resource Group. He leads a team of arborists who provide street trees to cities, develop urban forest management consulting solutions, and develop analysis to urban tree canopy assessments. Ian is a Board Certified Master Arborist through the ISA and maintains advanced ISA credentials in Municipal and Utility Arboriculture.
