President’s Message

Hello Chapter Members! Welcome to the Year of the Homeowner! As a homeowner member, I am excited to be bringing the homeowner's

perspective. This year will be a celebration of you, the homeowners in our common interest communities. By celebrating homeowners, we celebrate the diversity that enriches our communities and makes them a vibrant tapestry of different backgrounds and experiences.

Neighbors Becoming Friends

What I did not expect to experience with my condo was neighbors becoming friends who look out for each other and the many occasions to socialize if I chose. My two

Events and Resources to Get You Prepped

As we celebrate homeowners this year, I encourage you to attend the variety of events WSCAI holds throughout the year, gather at roundtables to listen, share experiences and lessons learned by networking with other homeowners, participate on WSCAI committees, and more.

Please take advantage of everything we have to offer; after all, it is all created for you. The January edition of the Journal is a business directory—a comprehensive list of professionals ready to guide you through the myriad of HOA responsibilities. The WSCAI website is loaded with information, resources, and a list of events  are posted during the year with timely expert advice on all things HOA. And the bonus? You will meet fantastic people and make new friendships!

The collaborative spirit, commitment to excellence and community well-being we all share are integral to the success and vibrancy of our shared living spaces. The crucial partnerships we form will create strong community associations. As we acknowledge the village it takes to be successful, let us continue to work side by side, building stronger, more resilient communities we are proud to call home.

See you soon!

grandchildren ages three and four are one set of only three little angel residents in our building. They run when the doorbell rings because they are so excited to see our neighbors. In fact, our neighbors welcome them with laughter, treats, and the feeling of belonging—and my heart smiles every time.
